Assassins against Uncanny Dodge

Post by Surgo »

So, Uncanny Dodge is insanely awesome and completely nullifies an Assassin's Death Attack. What gets around this limitation? Any spells that an Assassin has access to (ie necromancy, illusion, and divination spells) particularly good against people who normally have Uncanny Dodge?

Congealing Consumption seems great even at high levels, except against undead guys with Uncanny Dodge (who screw me).

Well, Helplessness is still a death sentence, Uncanny Dodge or no.

But yeah, people who have actual class levels and Uncanny Dodge do really well against Assassins of their level.

Uncanny Dodge and the improved one nullifies flat footed and flanking produced sneak attacks. Stuns, paralysis, and similar effects still do the job. As for what the Assassin might have... Ummmm poison use?

If you want a game modded right you have to mod it yourself.
